A 27°C World

Refreshing Lives Sustainably.

27°C is an ideal temperature for both human comfort and environmental sustainability. We are converting this learning into action by embarking on a mission to develop air-cooling technology that is affordable, sustainable and accessible. We believe that a 27°C world is an optimal temperature for humans to function.

27°C for productivity

A 27°C world is an optimum level of thermal comfort at the workplace and can enhance a person’s productivity by 12%. Research by IIM Ahmedabad suggests that a temperature between 23-30°C can improve productivity which can be achieved by cooling the workplace.

27°C for comfortability

The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers state that high relative humidity is successful in neutralising the COVID-19 virus. The virus is only able to survive at low temperatures. On the other hand, humans feel the most comfortable, safe and sufficient in the range of 24°C-30°C.

27°C for work accuracy

NASA reportedly found in their heat stress report that the workplace temperatures need to be maintained at an optimal number so that the work output and accuracy produced by the employees is at its best. Researchers have found that at 27°C, the loss of work output is 8% and loss in accuracy only 5%.
