The success of Symphony is a testament to our core belief that doing what is right for people and the planet is also good for business. Over the years, we have embraced and succeeded in developing energy-efficient products that positively impact the environment. Driven by this relentless passion of making this world a better place, we have already taken a giant leap by becoming a Carbon Negative company as per scope 1. A recent study emphasises, confirming this achievement, that using one Symphony air cooler creates a virtual carbon sink that reduces CO2 emissions by 1 tonne per year, which is equivalent to planting about 14 trees per year. Considering that an air cooler has a 5-year lifespan, we have so far prevented more than 125 million tonnes of CO2 emissions, which is the same as planting 1.75 billion trees.
Driving sustainability through
environment stewardship
Symphony’s growth has been guided by the core belief of doing right for the business by doing right for people and our planet. Over the years, we have been embracing the challenge of developing energy-efficient products while reducing our environmental footprint. This is important to us as we believe innovation is key to a sustainable future for our planet.
With the growing demand for energy, its increasing cost, and the corresponding impact on the environment, every new generation of Symphony air coolers offers greater benefits to customers and the environment.
‘Kal Ki Soch’ is a collaboration between Symphony Limited and Vineet KKN ‘Panchhi’ to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable living. We all have a responsibility to do our part in protecting our planet for future generations. This means making changes in our daily lives and advocating for larger systemic changes.
The time to act is now.
Here are some steps you can take to reduce your carbon footprint:
Use public transport or bike instead of driving alone
Reduce plastic use by bringing reusable bags, water bottles, and containers
Support businesses and policies that prioritize sustainability
Remember, we all share this planet, and we must work together to protect it.
“Kyuki kal ki soch, aaj se shuru hoti hai.”
Let’s start today with a commitment to sustainability and a better future for all.
As a part of its CSR initiatives and commitment towards sustainability, Symphony Limited took up an urban landscape project to establish Symphony Forest Park. With the ultimate aim to revamp an abandoned patch of land ranging 11,000 square metres, Symphony rejuvenated the area to develop a Forest Park, that contains more than 250 plant species, 30,000 tree saplings, numerous species of exotic birds, and a resuscitated lake with aquatic species. As a company, Symphony is always devoted to giving back to the environment, which is a small step towards a cleaner, better future.
Designing coolers keeping the
planet in mind
Symphony air coolers ensure big savings in power consumption. It was found, from a recent study, that by using a Symphony cooler one can reduce the
carbon footprint which is equivalent to planting about 14 trees per year. Moreover, Symphony coolers do not emit any ozone depleting gases unlike other cooling devices that induce global warming.
We pursue new ways to reduce emissions and improve energy management through conservation, and energy-efficient product design.
